وطنية - أفادت مندوبة "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" في بعلبك وسام درويش أن الجيش اللبناني دهم بلدة عرسال وتمكن من توقيف سوريين ولبناني ثالث لارتباطهم بمجموعات إرهابية.

وفي مداهمة ثانية منفصلة، تمكن جهاز الامن العام من توقيف سوري رابع للاسباب عينها ونقلوا جميعا للتحقيق.

وحدة من ​فوج الهندسة​ في ​الجيش اللبناني​ قامت بتفجير ​لغم ارضي​ في ​وادي عطا​ في بلدة ​عرسال​ بالقرب من احد مراكز الجيش اللبناني، موضحاً أن اللغم كان قد وضع سابقا من قبل الجيش تحسبا لاي عمليات تسلل للمجموعات الارهابية باتجاه مراكز الجيش وجرى تفجيره لعدم الحاجة اليه بعد خروج المسلحين من الجرود

One killed and one wounded by land mine near Arsal

On 27 September 2017, a 50-year-old woman Fattoum was wounded and her sixty-year old Lebanese husband Youssef Ahmad al-Hujeiri was killed  by a land mine explosion on the outskirts of the northeastern border town of Arsal.

On 28 September 2017,  General Security arrested a Syrian born in 1998, on charges of belonging to the terrorist Nusra Front. 

Army seized six explosive devices in Arsal

A Lebanese Army intelligence patrol seized six explosive devices in Kherbet Younin locality of Arsal outskirts. Explosive belts and other devices were also found in a cave that was used by terrorist groups.

وطنية - أفادت مندوبة الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام في بعلبك وسام درويش، ان الجيش اللبناني عثر على عبوتين مجهزتين نوع "تي ان تي" من مخلفات تنظيم "داعش" الارهابي، في منطقة وادي الدب في جرود عرسال. 

General Security arrested a Syrian for arms trafficking

General Security arrested a Syrian national in Arsal on suspicions of illegal arms trading and involvement with terrorist organizations.
 
The Syrian national, identified as Kh.S.A., reportedly admitted to being guilty of the accusations during investigations and said he had begun his illicit activities in 2014, when he founded an arms smuggling network to bring military equipment into Lebanon.
 

Three suspects arrested in Arsal for links with Nusra Front

A state security force arrested  two Lebanese and a Syrian in Ras al-Sarj. The three men were working on cars stolen for the sake of the terrorist "Nusra" Front.
