Army Intelligence arrests Syrian over affiliation to Daesh

The Lebanese Army Intelligence apprehended the Syrian national, Houssam Fawaz Hseiki, over affiliation to Daesh terrorist organization.

Hseiki is accused of having taken part in battles against the Lebanese Army alongside Daesh in Arsal back in 2014. He is also accused of detaining a number of army men during the attack on Arsal Technical Center.

It is to note that the arrestee has been referred to the military court for prosecution.

بنتيجة مواصلة عمليات البحث والتفتيش، ضبطت قوى الجيش في محلة حصن الخربة - ​جرود عرسال​، ​عبوة ناسفة​ زنتها 50 كلغ، بالإضافة إلى عبوتين زنتهما حوالى 20 كلغ و 6 عبوات زنة الواحدة منها 5 كلغ، جميعها من مخلّفات التنظيمات الإرهابية، ومعدة للتفجير وقد عملت مجموعة من ​فوج الهندسة​ على تفكيكها وتفجيرها في مكانها.

The Lebanese Army  Intelligence Department had arrested Mustafa Hojeiry, aka "Abu Takiye," in Arsal town at dawn. 

State Security arrested a Syrian in Saadnayel for links with terror groups

State Security arrested the Syrian national, identified as Mohammed K., in the town of Zahle's Saadnayel for links to terror groups. 
The detained Syrian admitted that he fought against the Lebanese army in the outskirts of Arsal in the ranks of a group belonging to the Nusra Front. 

Palestinian arrested in Aboudiyeh over terrorism charges

The ISF Information Branch arrested one Palestinian on November 8 in the northern border region of Aboudiyeh, for belonging to terrorist Daesh organization. 
The arrested confessed to having fought alongside the group in Syria before returning to Lebanon with the intention of recruiting individuals to join terrorists.

State Security arrested a Syrian in Arsal over terrorist charges

The State Security Directorate apprehended a Syrian in the refugee camp of Ar-Rahman in Arsal, for belonging to terrorist Daesh and al-Nusra organizations. 

The arrested admitted to have participated in the following to several battles alongside groups affiliated with Daesh and al Nusra, against the Lebanese Army.

Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested two suspected terrorists including a Daesh (ISIS) leader in Arsal.
 
The first suspect, a Lebanese national identified as Ibrahim Ahmed Zaarour, is one of the most prominent leaders of Daesh in the town of Arsal.The second detainee was identified as Syrian national Oday Hussein al-Khatib, who allegedly participated in 2014 clashes in Arsal between Daesh militants and the Army.
