On 28 September 2017,  General Security arrested a Syrian born in 1998, on charges of belonging to the terrorist Nusra Front. 

During his interrogation he admitted to his affiliation to the "Abu Abdullah al-Iraqi" group, which is loyal to the Nusra Front terrorist wing in Arsal mountains. He also said he participated in the attack on the Lebanese Army posts on 02/08/2014, and the abduction of two soldiers and their transfer to the headquarters of the terrorist Abu Malek al-Tali. 
The arrestee also admitted that he was later tasked with transporting explosives and working with others on booby-trapping cars for use in terrorist operations.
