وطنية - صدر عن قيادة الجيش - مديرية التوجيه البيان الآتي: "بتاريخه الساعة 10.00، ضبطت دورية تابعة لمديرية المخابرات بالقرب من مبنى بلدية عرسال، جسما مشبوها عبارة عن كيس مموه بالطين. وبعد الكشف عليه من قبل الخبير العسكري المختص، تبين أنه يحتوي على 4 عبوات زنة 10.7 كلغ غير معدة للتفجير، حيث تم نقلها وتفكيكها".

Army began a new deployment in Arsal outskirts

The army began a new deployment operation in the eastern chain in the outskirts of Arsal, introducing a number of tanks and improvising new posts on hilltops.

This comes as complementary to the army's measures that started in the liberated Arsal outskirts, after the withdrawal of ten thousand militants of Nusra Front and "Saraya Sham".

3 Nusra prisoners swapped for Hezbollah captives near Arsal

Three Jabhat Fatah al-Sham prisoners held in Lebanon’s Roumieh Prison were exchanged early Wednesday, 02 Aug 17 for three Hezbollah fighters captured in the recent battles near Arsal. The three prisoners were transported by the Lebanese Red Cross to Wadi Hmayyed northeast of Arsal. A little after midnight on Wednesday morning, the Hezbollah fighters were handed over to Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim and were transported to Labweh in Bekaa.

افادت مصادر عسكرية للنشرة أن "اميرجبهة النصرةابو مالك التلي قام بتصفية احد المغادرين المدعو رعد العموري لاتهامه بالتعاملمع داعش "، مشيرة إلى أن "العموري كان يخطط لإفشال الإتفاق عبر قتل التلي شخصيا".
من جهة اخرى اشارت المصادر إلى أن "عملية مغادرة مسلحي سرايا اهل الشام تتبلور بشكل نهائي خلال ٤٨ ساعة على ان يغادروا مع آلياتهم وعائلاتهم قسما لا يزال التفاوض على اخذ السلاح الخفيف معهم جاريا".

Lebanese Army conducted raid in Arsal refugee camps

The Lebanese Army conducted a raid in Sanabel refugee camp, in Arsal, looking for a young Syrian fugitive linked to terrorist organisations. While the patrol unit was in the camp, an armed group opened fire at the patrol. The patrol countered fire sources, killing the fugitive and wounding a gunman.
