NNA - The Lebanese Army on Wednesday raided on the third day in a row Tleis residence in Brital, NNA field reporter said on Wednesday.
This step comes at the backdrop of Abbas Tleis's fleeing from Dar Al-Hikma hospital, NNA reporter added.

Gunmen assist detainee to escape hospital

On 20 Apr 15, a number of gunmen, all required by justice helped wanted person escape Dar-al-Hikma hospital at the northern entry of Baalbeck city. The fugitive was detained on April 15, in Brital, during army raids. He has been under strict security observation at the hospital ever since. Following his fleeing, the army headed to Brital and widely deployed in the area, after setting checkpoints and searching houses.

LAF clash with Al-Nusra Front in outskirts of Ras Baalbek

On 16 Apr 15, the Lebanese Armed Forces clashed at dawn with Al-Nusra Front fighters in the outskirts of Ras Baalbek-North Bekaa. The intermittent gun battles took place on the western side of Asal al-Wared. Also at dawn Thursday, troops targeted with heavy artillery the movement of armed militants in the outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal. The fighters were furthermore targeted in Wadi Hmeid, Muheet al-Malahi and al-Rihwa.

Army: Five persons arrested, one injured in raid in Brital

NNA - Army Command- Guidance Directorate issued the following communiqué on Tuesday :
"A Lebanese Army force raided last night some places in Brital village in Al-Bekaa where some wanted persons hide and arrested five persons, three of them are wanted in opening fire and injuring citizens.
Moreover, the force confiscated some light military weapons, ammunition and drugs which were in their possession as well as a black Mercedes registered in the name of Mohammad Samih Moussa and a black New Grand Cherokee Jeep registered in the name of the citizen Bashir Selim Elias.
