On 16 Apr 15, the Lebanese Armed Forces clashed at dawn with Al-Nusra Front fighters in the outskirts of Ras Baalbek-North Bekaa. The intermittent gun battles took place on the western side of Asal al-Wared. Also at dawn Thursday, troops targeted with heavy artillery the movement of armed militants in the outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal. The fighters were furthermore targeted in Wadi Hmeid, Muheet al-Malahi and al-Rihwa.
