Army arrests Lebanese in Arsal, Syrian in Labweh

The Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued on Wednesday the following statement:

"Within the frame of pursuing suspects and controlling borders, the Army forces arrested Lebanese Hussein Dib al Flayti and Abdallah Mohammad Amoun, while they were trying to transport equipment and food materials to the region's terrains via two vehicles without legal papers.

The Army also arrested Syrian Tarek Omar Airout who is a suspect of belonging to terrorist groups.

Arrested were handed over to competent authorities for necessary procedures."

LAF: Seven Lebanese, foreign suspects detained in Metn and Arsal

The Lebanese Armed Forces' Orientation Directorate issued on Saturday the following statement:

"In the framework of pursuing wanted persons and suspects, a LAF force raided various suspicious locales in the regions of Sabtiyeh and Fanar in Metn and apprehended two Syrian nationals, one Palestinian and three Lebanese and confiscated arms and drugs in addition to cameras and telecom apparatuses.

Syrians arrested for partaking in attack against Army

The Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate arrested on Friday Syrians Ahmad Mofleh Seifeddine and Abdul Karim Ahmad Seifeddine in Fakiha - West Bekaa, as the NNA correspondent reported.

The arrested Syrians were involved in attacks against the Lebanese Army in Arsal.

Army targets militants' moves in Arsal outskirts

Clashes broke out on Thursday morning between the Lebanese Army and militants in Arsal outskirts, NNA field reporter said.

The Army targeted the militants' moves with mortar shells.

Syrian war planes on Wednesday carried out a series of raids on Zemrani - Wadi El-Kheil crossing on the Lebanese - Syrian border of Ersal outskirts targeted armed persons movements in Al-Qalamoun, National News Agency correspondent reported.

Kidnapped soldiers' families burn tires at Grand Serail entrance

Families of the kidnapped military men burned on Tuesday tires at the entrance of the Grand Serail, after having clashed with the Serail's security guards, as our correspondent reported.

Clash between Grand Serail guards, kidnapped soldiers' families

A clash took place between the Grand Serail guards and the family of the kidnapped soldiers, the NNA correspondent reported.

The guards prevented the soldiers' relatives from burning tires and reaching the Serail's main entrance, while the Crisis Management Cell was in session under Premier Salam's chairmanship.

Army: Five arrests made in Arsal with one carrying explosive belt

Army soldiers upon an inspection of a jeep arrested a couple of occupants of Syrian extraction: cleric Husam Eddine Ghali along with four Syrian refugees in Arsal.
Occupants on board the vehicle were headed to Arsal mountain slopes, Yarzeh based directorate of guidance said in a communiqué today.

LAF fires at suspect in Arsal outskirts

The LAF opened fire on Friday at a suspected man in the outskirts of Arsal which left Moustapha Ezzeddine injured.

Ezzedine was wounded in the leg and rushed to hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred with the patrol manning the Wadi Hosson checkpoint, according to NNA correspondent to Baalbek.

Army arrests Syrian after raiding camp in Arsal

The Lebanese Army managed on Thursday to arrest a Syrian individual belonging to a terrorist group after raiding his camp in Arsal, according to NNA field reporter in Baalbak.
