Severe clashes in "Wadi Re'yan" in Arsal outskirts

Sounds of artillery and mortar shells are heard in the villages of northern Bekaa, resulting from clashes between the Lebanese army and armed militants at the eastern highlands of Arsal terrain and Wadi Raayan.
Two rockets launched from the eastern chain fell in the vicinity of the public Labweh High School, with no damages inflicted.
A mortar shell also fell in the town of al Amhazieh in northern Bekaa without causing damage.

Blocking of Labweh, al-Ain roads

A group of angry young men cut-off the roads leading to the towns of Labweh and al-Ain in northern Beqaa, in protest against circulated news of the slaughter of another kidnapped military soldier at the hands of so-called "Daesh".

Qalamoun Highway cutoff once again following news of second soldier's slaughter

Family of the kidnapped Army soldier, Ibrahim Samir Moeit, ventured into cutting-off Qalamoun Highway in both directions, once again, in wake of news of another Army soldier's murder at the hands of "Daesh". A number of media sites reported earlier that the so-called Islamic State's Qalamoun Sector had declared in a statement that one of the kidnapped soldiers in Arsal attempted to escape their imprisonment Saturday. However, and after shooting at "Daesh" members while trying to flee, the soldier was re-captured and slaughtered at the hands of Daesh.

Kidnapped security members' families stage sit in at Riad El Solh Square

The families of the abducted security members staged on Thursday at 9:30 a sit-in at Riad El-Solh Square facing the Grand Serail.

The field reporter added that the said families sat down on the ground and raised pictures of their 'children' and banners calling upon the cabinet to shoulder its responsibilities and work to release the kidnapped soldiers.

Families of abducted soldiers block roads and set up tents in protest against the abductions of soldiers

On the 30th of August the people of Fnaydek in Aakar took the streets on Saturday and used their cars to block the main road at Mouhammara Bridge in Tripoli in a public protest against the prolonged detention of abducted soldiers. They also set a tent in the middle of Abdeh highway at Mohammara crossing, and said that they would stay there until their kidnapped beloved ones were released, pointing that they "would not back from this decision before reaching a quick solution to this humane file.
