Army Arrests 4 in Raid on Refugee Encampments

The Lebanese army arrested 4 Syrian suspects in a raid on the encampments of refugees in the northeastern town of Arsal, the army said. The army raided encampments of Syrian refugees in Arsal in search for suspects where an exchange of fire erupted and led to the injury of Syrian Shadi Moussa Moussa, the Army Orientation Directorate said in a statement. None of the troops was harmed. Moussa, confessed that he belongs to one of the terrorist groups and that he had prepared a belt of explosives that he planned to detonate in one of the army positions.

Army arrests Daash security official in Arsal

The Lebanese army managed a while ago to arrest "Daash" Organization Security Official in Arsal (A. Atrash), after a lightning operation carried out by the army, NNA Correspondent reported on Tuesday.
It is to note that Al Atrash is considered a valuable "catch" since he's one of the leaders of Daash. The terrorist Omar Al Atrash is his uncle.

Army detains 2 attempting to smuggle Captagon into Arsal

The Army Friday detained two Lebanese nationals trying to smuggle Captagon pills into the northeastern border town of Arsal.
"An Army patrol detained on the Labweh-Arsal road citizens Ahmad Mohammad Hmeid and Youssef Ahmad al-Atrash, who were in a Hino pickup truck without any legal documents," the Army said in a statement.
The military said it confiscated "51 bags of Captagon pills that [the suspects] were trying to smuggle into Arsal."

Police Arrest Syrian Aiding Terrorist Groups in Arsal

The General Security arrested a Syrian national on charges of modifying and armor plating vehicles in favor of terrorist groups in the outskirts of the northeastern border town of Arsal, the state-run National News Agency reported on Friday.
The suspect provided logistic help for the groups and had constant contacts with them when they carried out attacks against the Lebanese army in the town and assaulted, killed and kidnapped its members, NNA added.
The groups had plans to booby trap the cars for future attacks.
The man was interrogated and referred to the judiciary.

One Syrian arrested in Sidon on suspicion of communicating with Nusra Front

General Security Information Branch in the south arrested on Monday a Syrian national on suspicion of previously taking part in battles in Syria along with armed groups, as well as holding contacts with Al-Nusra Front members in Arsal terrains, NNA Correspondent reported.
