General Security: Lebanese arrested for attacking army in Arsal

The General Security today arrested Lebanese M.H. for involvement in terrorist acts, a communiqué by the General Security's General Directorate indicated on Wednesday.
During interrogations, the man admitted belonging to a terrorist group in Arsal outskirts, and having fought alongside the group against the Lebanese army in Arsal.
He added that he had transferred suicide-bombers who had blew themselves up near the Iranian Embassy in Beirut, and planned for executing a suicide-bombing against an army outpost or a party office.

The Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate - issued on Tuesday a statement saying an army unit has halted in Wadi Al-Hosn area in Arsal the Syrians Hassan Abdel Karim Awad and Aladdin Saadia on suspicions of belonging to terrorist organizations

General Security apprehends two Syrians over affiliation to terror groups

The General Security General Directorate issued a statement on Monday saying that it has apprehended two Syrians, whom after investigations have admitted links and affiliation to a terrorist organization.
One of the two Syrians confessed having taken part in armed clashes against the Lebanese Army in Arsal. The other one confessed having worked in trafficking arms and munitions in the service of terrorists in Arsal outskirts.
Following investigations, both arrestees were referred to the concerned judicial sides.

3 Syrians arrested in Arsal suspected to be affiliated to armed groups

The Lebanese Army arrested on Wednesday at the investigation checkpoint between Arsal and Labweh three Syrians suspected to be affiliated to armed groups, NNA correspondent reported on Wednesday.
They were later taken to Ablah to start investigations with them.
