The Lebanese Army pounded militant posts on the country's northeastern border Saturday, the state-run National News Agency reported.
Military shelled extremist movements on the outskirts of Wadi Rafeq in the town of Arsal.
No casualties were reported.

Lebanese army soldiers have foiled an infiltration attempt by gunmen near 2 of its Arsal outposts, NNA field reporters said today. Soldiers manning their posts opened up with assorted weapons on infiltrators injuring or killing a number of them and destroying unspecified types of vehicles, the same reporters concluded.
