NNA - A member from Nusra Front was killed and another injured by a bomb planted by ISIS combatants in Wadi Ajram in Arsal outskirts, NNA correspondent reported.

n 30 Mar 17, in Aarsal-Bekaa, Lebanese Army Forces (LAF) conducted heavy security measures in Aarsal that included patrols and checkpoints in the purpose of looking for wanted persons.

3 suspected Daesh militants killed, 3 wounded in Arsal bombing

Three suspected Daesh (ISIS) militants were killed and three others wounded in a bombing when a pickup truck they were in exploded in a northeast Lebanon border town, a security source told The Daily Star.

The incident took place in Arsal’s Jameh Kabeer neighborhood near an old police station.

Masked gunmen have put up a 200-meter radius cordon, preventing security sources from approaching the scene.

The wounded were admitted to Al-Rahme hospital for treatment.

Stringest security measures in Arsal in search for wanted individuals

NNA - The Lebanese Army has been implementing stringent security measures in Arsal since early this morning in search for a number of wanted individuals, NNA field reporter said. 

Meanwhile, the Army has also set up a number of mobile checkpoints across the town of Arsal in an attempt to preserve a state of security in the region and its vicinity.

On 28 Mar 17, Lebanese Army Forces (LAF) targeted with heavy artillery armed elements positions in Aarsal Outskirts, after that Hizbullah allegedly countered an attack from Al Nusra Front  in the outskirts of Aarsal.

State apprehends wanted person in Baalbek

NNA - After thorough monitoring and follow-up, State Security Directorate General's Baalbek-Hermel Regional Unit managed to arrest a wanted person, with the initials M.Y. in Baalbek, upon the signal of the military prosecution, NNA reporter said.
The arrested person is one of the militants of the so-called "Sham
Brigades" affiliated to Nusra Front in the outskirts of Arsal.

General Security arrests Syrian over belonging to Daesh

NNA - The General Security apprehended one Syrian for belonging to Daesh, a communiqué by the agency indicated.
The detained confessed that he had recruited individuals to operate within the terrorist group, among whom two Lebanese brothers currently present in Arsal outskirts.

LAF captures Palestinian affiliated with ISIS

NNA - The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Orientation Directorate issued on the following statement: 

"The Intelligence Directorate referred Palestinian national, Ahmad Asaad Ghadban, to specialized judiciary for belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS and plotting terrorist bombings in one of the Lebanese regions." 
 

General Security arrests Syrian over belonging to Daesh

NNA - General Security - General Directorate arrested the Syrian (M.H) over belonging to Daesh . 
The arrested confessed upon investigation with him of belonging to the said organization and that the Syrian (A.K), one of Daesh security princes, tasked him to watch the Lebanese Army patrols and moves in Ersal village. 
Then after, the arrested was referred to the concerned judiciary authorities.
