Daesh members shoot house in Arsal

NNA field reporter on Monday said that a Daesh terrorist group shot fire against a house in Arsal for a Lebanese citizen from Wehbe family shortly after the army arrested the terrorist Ahmad Mohammad Ammoun.
Daesh accused Wehbe of tricking Ammoun to fall in the hands of army.

Lebanese arrested for human trafficking

Hezbollah Monday killed three Al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front gunmen and wounded five others on the outskirts of Lebanon's northeastern border, a security source told The Daily Star.
Hezbollah's Al-Manar television reported in a newsflash that "resistance fighters targeted a group of Nusra Front gunmen with artillery weapons."
The attack occurred in the area of Wadi al-Kheil on the outskirts of Arsal.
No further details were given.

Lebanon arrests Syrian accused of arms dealing

Lebanon's General Security announced Thursday the arrest of a Syrian national over alleged weapons trading and working with militant groups.

A General Security statement said the Syrian man, identified by the initials A.Aa., confessed to forming a network with three other Syrian nationals which sells weapons and ammunition to militant groups residing in the northeastern border town of Arsal.

It added that it is working to capture three other suspects as the Syrian national was referred to judicial authorities for further investigation.

The Lebanese army destroyed through a guided missile a vehicle for armed terrorists in the locality of Dahr al-Safa in Arsal's outskirts, after attempting to advance towards the army positions, NNA reporter said on Monday.
Terrorists aboard the vehicle were killed.
