Residents of the Nabatieh towns of Arab Salim and Habboush Tuesday protested a nearby waste dump that the residents claim has been causing health problems, briefly blocking a main road. The residents protested what they said was health and environmental damage created by a waste dump near a river between the towns which is also creating a stench and attracting insects. The dump was created around five years ago, although more has been disposed in it the past two months, including medical waste.

Palestinians and Lebanese took to the streets of Saida in solidarity with their compatriots living in occupied territory. The marchers, some holding torches, walked from old Saida to the courtyard of the Saida Serail, chanting slogans along the way. The march transformed into a festival atmosphere at the Serail, with those gathered singing songs dedicated to the Palestinian cause, joined by well-known Palestinian singer Amal Kaawash, and younger children playing games.

نظّمت مجموعة من الشباب ال​لبنان​ي بمشاركة طلاب من قطاع الشباب في التيار الوطني الحر تحرّكاً أمام مقرّ المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون ​اللاجئين​ في منطقة ​الجناح​-بيروت في لبنان. حيث تم رفع العلم اللبناني دون غيره كما وحمل الشبان والشابات يافطات شدّدت على حق ​النازحين السوريين​ بالعودة إلى بلادهم، معتبرين أن "سلب الشعب السوري حقه بالرجوع إلى أرضه سوريا هو جريمة بحق السوريين أولاً قبل سواهم"، منوهين أن "المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين لا تعمل بحسب رسالتها وتساهم بقراراتها في إعاقة هذه العودة بدلاً من تأمينها وتسهيلها".
