وطنية - المتن - نفذت نقابة مستوردي السيارات المستعملة في لبنان برئاسة إيلي قزي إعتصاما أمام مركز مصلحة تسجيل السيارات والآليات في إحتجاجا ورفضا لإستمرار إقفال مراكز "النافعة" في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية. وطالب النقيب ايلي قزي ب "اعادة فتح مراكز النافعة نظرا للخسائر التي تكبدها القطاع جراء الاقفال بحجة النقص بالمستلزمات الادارية والمحروقات" معتبرا ان" هناك عملية افلاس مبرمجة لقطاعات الدولة وهذا ما لا نقبل به". ودعا قزي المعنيين الى "عدم زجهم في الاعيبهم السياسية والمحاصصة واعطائهم حقهم ضمن القانون لتسهيل معاملات المواطنين ايضا ، علما ان النافعة تدخل الى الخزينة 4 مليار ل. ل يوميا". وطالب " المسؤولين القيام بما يلزم لإعادة فتح هذه المراكز الحيوية بالنسبة للدولة والمواطنين وقطاع السيارات، والا فاننا ذاهبون الى التصعيد واقفال الطرق" .
The Union of Used Cars Importers in Lebanon staged a sit-in on Wednesday in front of the vehicle registration and technical control centre of Dekwaneh (Metn) in protest of the “continuous closure of inspection centres in various areas.” Mechanical inspection centres across Lebanon have been closed for weeks. In a statement, the union said, “this protest comes in response to the inaction of officials and their lack of response in reopening automobile technical control centers.” The union also said that the closure “causes losses of revenue to the state estimated by tens of billions of liras per week and has negative consequences on the automobile sector whose activities are almost at a standstill.” "None of the excuses offered by officials is convincing," said the used cars importers, adding that the union "will escalate its movements” if politicians do not reopen the centres.
