جثة عاملة نيبالية معلقة بحبلعُثر يوم الجمعة الماضي على جثة العاملة النيبالية ليلى ع. (40 عاماً) معلقة من عنقها ومتدلية من حبل مربوط في الدفاع الحديدي لنافذة منزل في الفنار. لم تُعرف ملابسات الحادث وأسبابه، لكن التقارير تلفت إلى أن ليلى انتقلت للعمل لدى أصحاب المنزل قبل يومين من وفاتها

Ethiopian falls in Antelias وقوع إثيوبية في أنطلياس

Al-Akhbar newspaper reported today the death of Ethiopian maid Wilana Sbsay, who "fell" from the balcony of her employers in Antelias, north of Beirut. According to reports, she threw herself from the balcony.

نشرت الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام اليوم ما يلي:

في محلة جل الديب، اقدمت الخادمة السيرلنكية امباغالا موديان سيلاج من (مواليد 1980) على الرمي بنفسها من نافذة مكتب الربيع للخدم، والكائن في الطابق الرابع من بناية حفيظ ابو جودة، ما ادى الى مصرعها على الفور بعد ان تحطم رأسها بشكل كامل.

Update on "falling" Nepalese couple

AsSafir newspaper added today to Al-Akhbar's info yesterday that the two Nepalese girls, Santi Maya (1985) and Lama Asmita (1981) fell from the third floor of Salibi tower in Jisr El Basha. The first sustained injuries and the second died.

I called today staff of a reputable NGO that has offices on the 7th floor of Salibi tower and NO ONE HAD HEARD of the incident. It seems that it was raining heavily on that day.

Ethiopian maid drank detergent last Monday, died (Al-Akhbar newspaper)

An Ethiopian maid, Betlehim Sh., died at the house of her employer M. M. who is the head of a municipality in Northern Maten (Mount Lebanon). Security reports indicated that she was taken to hospital last Monday after drinking a quantity of "Eau de Javel" detergent and died at 6:30 in the evening of the same day.
