اطلق الشبان المعترضون على رفع "قبضة الثورة" في النبطية هتافات مؤيدة لرئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري والامين العام لـ"حزب الله" السيد حسن نصرالله.
وألقى ابو هادي معتوق كلمة باسمهم اعلن فيها ان "وقفتنا اليوم لا تهدف الى اثارة أي مشكلة لا مع الحراك ولا مع غيره، ولكن هؤلاء يستفزوننا برفع هذه القبضة في النبطية التي لا ترفع في هذه المدينة الا القبضة الحسينية والنبطية طردت المحتل وقدمت الشهداء لن تقبل بشعار كهذا، شعار الماسونية العالمية، ويجب ازالتها ولن نقبل بأن تبقى مكانها".
