Palestinians in Lebanon protest embassy move

Palestinians across Lebanon took to the streets to express anger at U.S. President Donald Trump’s expected decision to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.

In south Beirut’s Bourj al-Barajneh refugee camp, children flashed victory signs, and women waved Palestinian flags in protest.

Meanwhile, in Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in Sidon, hundreds gathered in front of the entrance to a school run by the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees to denounce the anticipated move – referring to Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli occupation.
