Amel: Livelihood programs, youth activities

Activity Description:

Two Amel centers in South Beirut (Ain El Remeneh and Hara Hreik) have started to target Syrian refugee youth and women specifically in their livelihood programs. These programs cover a life skills/ careerplanning, vocational training, and job apprenticeship program, during which outreach and social workers support the youth to develop their social and economic capital.
During the end of 2012 and the first quarter of 2013, Amel centers have successfully increased their outreach to different refugee youth communities from Syria (Syrians, Palestinians and Iraqis) living in different parts of Beirut.
