Amel: Winter Relief Aid distribution

As the Syrian crisis reaches unprecedented proportions, Amel has been expanding its help by providing winter relief to more than 6000 Syrian refugees. The overall plan included the distribution of different kits to families (clothes, hygiene and sanitary kits, basic items such as mattresses, blankets, pillows, food kits and kitchen supplies). Most of the kits are distributed through Amel’s local network in the different community centers across the country. In other cases, Amel visited collective shelters of Syrian refugees in order to deliver the support items.
