Army Command Guidance Directorate issued the following communiqué: "On Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., an Israeli drone violated Lebanese airspace from above Nakoura village, executed circular flight over the Saida, Jezzine, El-Shouf, Aley, Tyre, Bint Jbeil and Merjouyoun regions; and then left at 1:30 p.m. from above Rmeish village." |

In Maasser al-Shuf, civilians were attending a funeral in the church. When the attack took place, nine people from the village were killed, and others were killed as they were fleeing, including nine who came from another village, Machghara, to attend the funeral. As a result of this killing, 25,000 Christians fled the area, moving to East Beirut, and its northern, eastern, and southeastern suburbs. |

Following news of Jumblatt’s death, 177 Christian civilians (including women, elderly, and children) were killed in several villages in the Shuf, but also in some areas in West Beirut that were under the control of Joint Forces militias, where Christian civilians were kidnapped and executed. In the Shuf, Christians were kidnapped and executed, bodies were mutilated and left on the roads to be seen, and women were raped. The killings took place in Mazraat al-Shuf (52); Maasser al-Shuf (21); al-Barouk (28); Botmeh (9), Kfarnabrakh (6), Fraydis (6), as well as in Baadaran, Shurit, and Ain-Zhalta. Many victims were mutilated and women sexually abused. |

Between April and June 1976, Druze militias, with the support of the LAA and NM allies, were killing Christian civilians and destroying and looting their villages. These incidents prompted the Christian population to flee toward the Western Beqaa, Zahleh, and the Metn (Bikfaya), areas under the control of Christian militias. This offensive killed numerous civilians. On Paril 12, 1976, Caritas issued the following estimates: 95 villages were looted and their inhabitants displaced, 250,000 people were homeless, and 750,000 were in urgent need of food. |

Israeli warplanes violate Lebanese airspace |
NNA - An Israeli reconnaissance warplane violated on Sunday at 10,10 a.m. the Lebanese airspace and executed circular maneuvers over Beirut, Chouf, Jbeil and Tripoli, then left at 16,50 p.m. towards the occupied territories, according to the Army directorate. Also, a similar plane violated the Lebanese airspace and executed circular maneuvers over Beirut and its suburbs, Jezzine, Nabatiyeh and Margeyoun, then left at 22,50 p.m. towards the occupied territories.
