Riot police heavily scuffle with protesters leading to the use of teargas, rubber bullets and live bullets

One policeman was killed and more than 230 people were injured in clashes in central Beirut Saturday, during demonstrations demanding justice for victims of the devastating Beirut blast that shattered half the city.

Security forces fired volleys of tear gas and rubber bullets at rioters trying to break though the barriers at the north and south entrances to Nejmeh Square, where Parliament is located.
