Zahrani Municipality workers and employees staged an early morning sit-in in front of the local municipality building to protest the late payment of their wages.
The protestors closed off roads leading to the municipality building with cars and trucks, raising the skips of the trucks and holding banners announcing that their wages hadn’t been paid in months.
