The ISF responded to a call at 10 p.m. on Tuesday saying that a murder had taken place at a house in the town. At the scene, the ISF found Syrian national H.H., born in 1980, sitting next to the body of her daughter Th.H., born in 1999. The ISF said the mother was in a “state of confusion.”

H.H. is said to have confessed to killing her daughter by strangling her with her hands then electrocuting and smothering her with a pillow.

Investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the judiciary.
