A dispute between locals in an east Lebanon village turned violent on Sunday, leading to the death of a woman according to the state-run National News Agency.
NNA reported that an armed clash took place in Al-Marj in the central Bekaa Valley between members of the Darwish and Zaarour families. A woman from the Darwish family was killed, while her daughter and another man from the Harb family were injured after being shot.
The reasons behind the incident, and whether the victims were intentionally shot or not, are still unclear.
