A woman was found dead in her apartment in south Lebanon, a source told The Daily Star.
47-year-old Majida Haidar’s bloody body appeared to have been stabbed. She was found in her first floor apartment in the al-Athar neighborhood in Tyre.
Majida had been a teacher at one of the schools in Tyre, the National News Agency reported.
The Internal Security Forces were called to the crime scene, and investigations are underway as police wait for forensics to inspect the case further.
Her husband was arrested for questioning.
