On the morning of the 2nd of October, a man assaulted a woman in the Kesrouan town of Sarba.

The man sneaked through the building and into the girl's apartment, before assaulting her.

The woman reportedly awoke in her bedroom on the 5th floor of an apartment block to find a man, wearing only his underwear, in the room. The suspect, identified as Syrian national M.B., born in 1986, allegedly put his hands around the woman’s neck.The woman defended herself and screamed, prompting the doorman to escape through the bathroom window and down the building’s lamp post.
