ذكرت معلومات صحافية أن القوة الأمنية المشتركة في بيروت أحبطت أكبر عملية تهريب وترويج مخدرات في مخيم برج البراجنة، تبلغ قيمتها حوالي 200 ألف دولار أميركي، وذلك بالتنسيق مع مخابرات الجيش.
وأوقفت القوة الأمنية أفراد المجموعة الفلسطينيين: (و.م.ف) و (أ.ك.خ) واللبناني (أ.ش)، وتم تسليم الثلاثة مع المضبوطات إلى الأجهزة اللبنانية المعنية.
