Wall gunfire in Ain al -Hilweh camp

To show the resistance against the erecting of a concrete wall around the camp that started in 2016, in order to separate Ain al-Hilweh from the surrounding areas, the wall repeadly came under fire. 

On the 16th of August, shooting targeted a cement mixer, though none of the workers on duty were hurt.

Local Palestinian officials denounced the gunfire and pledged to bring the assailants to justice, the source said, adding that camp leaders are completely united in their desire to respond to “any individual or group jeopardizing the camp or its surrounding.”
