The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of a suspect in a robbery last week that targeted a Fransabank in Metn’s Mansourieh.

The suspect, identified as Lebanese national Kh.D., born in 1992, was arrested in Burj Hammoud on Dec. 23, the ISF statement said. A Kia Rio car was also seized, which the ISF said was used in the lead-up to the robbery.

Kh.D. allegedly was found to have a prior history of theft and drug offenses.

The ISF reportedly identified all of the suspected thieves within three hours of the Fransabank robbery. A brownish-green Land Cruiser was identified as the get-away vehicle, and later found in Metn’s Ain Saade. The car had reportedly been stolen from the Kesrouan town of Faraya on the morning of Dec. 22.
