بتاريخ 23/09/2016 ورد مقطع فيديو على أحد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، يظهر فيه قيام شخص مجهول الهوية بترويج عملة مزيفة في مطعم بمدينة صيدا، فأحيل إلى مكتب مكافحة الجرائم المالية وتبييض الأموال في وحدة الشرطة القضائية للمتابعة.
