A 20-year-old man was kidnapped from his car Thursday morning in Mount Lebanon, relatives and security sources told The Daily Star, as Army troops scoured areas where he is believed to have been taken. Marc al-Hajj Moussa, a student at the University of Balamand, was stopped by two cars on a road in Mazraat Yashoua on his way home to Bekfaya. One of the two cars was a Black Toyota FJ Cruiser reported stolen Wednesday, one relative, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said. A security source said the abductors are demanding a $1 million ransom in exchange for Moussa. Moussa’s car, a Toyota Land Cruiser, was later found in Majdal Tarshish.
