An unidentified man was run over in Choueifat, a security source told The Daily Star. At approximately 2 a.m. Thursday morning, a man was hit by a car near the Dohat al-Hoss bridge. His body was run over several times by passing cars before it was recovered.
“Police are attempting to find out whether he was in a car and got thrown out, or was walking on the road,” the source said, going on to state that the man didn’t have any identity documents or papers on his person.
The Internal Security Forces transported the body to the Baabda Government Hospital and are waiting for forensics to determine the cause of death.
“There is a possibility that he may have been stabbed and exposed to violence before being run over,” the source said.
