A man was beaten to death following a car crash in west Bekaa’s Zahle.
The incident occurred after a collision took place between a White Skoda, a BMW and a non-plated motorcycle. The Skoda was driven by Mohammad Kheir al-Khabir, born in 1976. The motorcycle was operated by an individual reported to be his uncle, identified only by initials Kh. Kh., born in 1956. The BMW was driven by H.A. Following the collision, the motorcyclist and BMW driver beat Khabir to death and subsequently fled the scene.
Khabir’s body was then transferred to a local hospital where the cause of death was determined to be heart failure due to blunt force trauma.
