Two Syrian brothers suspected of selling false insurance papers in Metn’s Rabieh were arrested by the Internal Security Forces, a statement from the body’s media office said.

Syrians nationals identified as W.A., 45, and S.A., 38, reportedly attained the forged papers from a travel agency in Cola.

The arrest came on the heels of investigations carried out by a unit of the ISF’s Judicial Police.

The investigations were initiated when an insurance company filed a complaint against a travel agency claiming it issued fake insurance in the company’s name.

During interrogations, both detainees confessed to the suspected forgery crimes.
