Two people were injured in a gunfire  in the southern city of Sidon.

Abed Al-Ibriq was shot at by Ahmad Safadi and Ramadan Al-Ja'afil with an assault rifle. It is unclear which suspect was the shooter.

The shooters fled. Attempting to flee the scene, Ibriq hid in a nearby ammunition store owned by the Nahhas family, where he and a bystander, who was in the store at the time, were targeted again by Jaafil, and both Ibriq and Hassan Nahhas were left wounded.

Both the Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces had personnel on the ground searching for Safadi, who is still at large.
