أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي انه "توافرت معلومات لمكتب مكافحة المخدرات المركزي في وحدة الشرطة القضائية، حول قيام شخصين بنقل مخدرات من تاجر الى مروجين يعملون لصالحه في محافظة جبل لبنان ومنطقة ضاحية بيروت الجنوبية.

بتاريخ 27/10/2018، ونتيجة المتابعة الحثيثة وبعد عمليات رصد وتعقب دامت لفترة طويلة، كمنت قوة من هذا المكتب لهما في محلة غزير، وعملت على الاطباق عليهما وتوقيفهما، وهما اللبنانيان:
