Two men were arrested for car theft in southeastern Nabatieh by the Internal Security Forces.
 
Two Lebanese men, identified as Aa.Z., born in 1988, and F.S., born in 1968, were arrested for stealing cars from rental office in Nabatieh and then smuggling them into Syrian territory.
 
During the investigation, the man identified as F.S. admitted that the duo would rent cars and then Aa.Z. would sell them. He also said that another man identified as H.J. played a role in the scam. H.J. was subsequently arrested by the ISF in Hermel in Bekaa.
 
Thus far 22 cars have been reported stolen, 16 of which were rented by the detainees while the other six were stolen from car owners.
