November 16, 1987: Two Lebanese were arrested at a LF checkpoint in Beirut; they were detained in the suburbs of Adonis and allegedly tortured. Their family and the ICRC were allowed to visit only after several months. They were transferred to Israel secretly in 1990, and their place of detention was revealed two years later. In 1997 they were still in detention, with no family access, and without charge or trial.
