A patrol of Bekaa police station detained at Bar Elias town two Lebanese and four Syrians over the attempt to smuggle Captagon pills to Saudi Arabia, National News Agency correspondent reported on Tuesday.
The detainees are Hussein Al-Ghadban (born 1982) and Hassan Tlais (born 1980) of the Lebanese nationality; and Aslan Samo (born 1985), Shadi Jaafar (born 1974), Wassel Hmaidan(born 1977) and Mariam Semo (born 1987) of the Syrian nationality.
It is worth to note that the Syrians' residency papers have expired.
