One Lebanese national and one Syrian national were injured after altercations between the Ghosn and Rammal families broke out.

Two days before, on the 5th, a member of the Ghosn family got into a verbal altercation with a security guard from the Rammal Supermarket in Khaldeh. It appears as if the altercation escalated over two days until it turned into an armed conflict.

Shortly after the scuffle broke out, the Lebanese Army quickly intervened and stopped the violence. As a result of the gunfire, two men were injured and no deaths were recorded.
