The Internal Security Forces arrested two suspected car thieves in the coastal town of Amchit in Jbeil.
 
The ISF, in cooperation with the Information Branch, arrested two men identified by the initials Aa. S. and M. M., while they were driving in a Kia vehicle. The suspects are allegedly part of a criminal gang that breaks into cars parked outside popular swimming areas in Jbeil, ransacking them and selling the contents.
 
Upon further investigation, the ISF determined that the men had previously been convicted and had several warrants out for their arrests.
