The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of two men charged with smuggling religious artifacts from Syria into Lebanon.
31 year-old Lebanese Q.M. and 22 year-old Syrian M.Sh. were arrested in the northern Lebanon town of Chekka Sunday.
Police confiscated an "old holy book replica" and an old currency coin, which the two were trying to sell for $100,000.
An investigation is currently underway.
