A fight broke out late evening in central Tripoli following a personal dispute that left one dead and another wounded.
The state-run national news agency reported that a scuffle broke out in Tripoli’s Nijmeh roundabout that escalated to shooting, leaving a man – named as Haitham Hosher – dead and two others wounded. The army reportedly intervened quickly, shooting in the air to disrupt the fight and prevent further violence. Local authorities have opened an investigation into the incident and to arrest those responsible for Hosher’s death.
