ذكرت معلومات صحافية أن دورية من شرطة بلدية طرابلس، أوقفت متسولا يستدر عطف المواطنين بجلوسه على كرسي متحرك، مدعيا الإعاقة وأنه بقدم واحدة.
وأفادت قيادة الشرطة أنه "بعد المراقبة والرصد، تبين أنه كاذب وليس مبتور القدم، وضبطت بحوزته مبلغ 375 ألف ليرة لبنانية، وقد اقتيد إلى مركز قيادة الشرطة في بلدية طرابلس، وسيتم تسليمه إلى الأجهزة الأمنية باشراف القضاء المختص، لمتابعة الاجراءات اللازمة حسب الأصول القانونية".
