Gunfire from an unknown assailant injured a woman in her head just south of Tripoli Sunday, the state-run National News Agency reported.

It was not immediately clear whether the woman was directly targeted or injured as a result of indiscriminate gunfire.

The woman, identified by NNA as B. Kh., was transported to a nearby hospital with head injuries after the incident, which took place as she was sitting inside a cafe in the town of Dahr al-Ain, a few kilometers south of Tripoli. The report did not provide additional details on her condition or the extent of her injuries
