A transgender person was arrested in the Babdaa town of Mreijeh on charges of engaging in prostitution.

The Lebanese national, identified as 27-year-old H.P., was referred to as a male by the directorate, which said the suspect had offered sex in exchange for money in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. With the result of extensive investigations, ISF was able to determine the suspect’s identity and whereabouts, leading to H.P.’s arrest on November 1st, 2017.

Rivotril pills were reportedly found on H.P. and in the suspect’s vehicle. ISF alleged that there was also a warrant out for H.P’s arrest on drug charges. The ISF said further evidence was found on H.P.’s cellphone to support the charges.
