BEIRUT: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three of her peers multiple times over a period of two months in north Lebanon, she said Monday.

The three boys, also minors, have detained by the army intelligence. A fourth suspect is also believed to have been involved in the incident.

The assailants were identified as Khaled Maarabani, Housam Dandashi and Najib Dandash. They are all from the Zahriyeh neighborhood in the northern city of Tripoli.

They are being questioned by the relevant authorities.
