وبتاريخ 27/04/2017 ونتيجة للاستقصاءات والتحريات المكثفة، تمكنت دورية من مفرزة استقصاء بيروت في وحدة شرطة بيروت، من توقيف نشالين بالجرم المشهود، هما: "م.ك" (مواليد عام 1997، لبناني)، "ح.ف" ( مواليد عام 1990، لبناني)، على متن دراجة آلية، في أثناء ارتكابهما عملية نشل طالت محفظة إحدى السيدات، في محلة وطى المصيطبة، والتي أصيبت بجرح في رأسها جراء سحبها من قبلهما بعد سقوطها أرضاً. وضبط بحوزتهما إضافة الى الدراجة الآلية، هاتف سامسونغ ليس بداخله شريحة. وتبين أنه يوجد بحق الثاني خلاصتي حكم بجرم إدخال مواد ممنوعة الى السجن، وضرب. وسلم الموقوفان والمضبوطات الى القطعة المعنية لإجراء المقتضى القانوني بحقهما، بناء على إشارة القضاء المختص".
