On 14 Jan 17, in Bab El Tebbeneh, Lebanese police detained three people suspected of stealing electricity cables from energy utilities in the north. Police seized about 300 kilograms of copper cables and a Mercedes that the suspects had allegedly stolen from Ayyat village in the Akkar district.
